What are the Pinterest Pin title and description limits? (Pinterest ad spec)
These are Pinterest's published ad specs, from its "Review ad specs" page. Pinterest says each of these ad formats "can be used in paid ad campaigns or to generate organic impressions", but it doesn't say the same limits apply to every organic Pin.
A Pin title can be up to 100 characters; the first 40 characters show in the feed, depending on the device. A Pin description can be up to 800 characters. Verified 2026-10-16 from the official Pinterest page.
On titles, Pinterest's official page says: When entered, titles will appear in the home feed or search feed.
